Flarø is a full wall acoustic cladding and is made from upcycled beech wood from a major Danish contractor. The beech has nuances of red and yellow, with black lines running across the wood. Here it can be experienced in the form of an acoustic panel combined with acoustic felts made of worn-out textile. Depending on fire requirements, acoustic batts made from other waste sources are also applicable.
Flarø gets its name from the characteristics of the wood. Everything from the grain pattern to the blackened fungi paths could remind one of a blazing flare in the sky, smoke trailing behind.
