The hemp insulation, when produced at scale in Ekolution new factory in Sweden (Staffanstorp) can be very cost competitive, with a significant CO2 sequestration (-70 kg/m3 insulation) while maintaining a strong product performance (0.04 lambda combined with 2300 J/(kg.K) heat capacity).
