The transformation of the City Store Tilburg is a fine example of how aesthetics, safety and sustainability can go hand in hand in modern architecture. In this project - one of the first circular and bio-based transformed offices in the Netherlands - QbiQ's system walls were used. Our partitions are not only sustainable and Cradle-to- Cradle-Silver certified, but also offer excellent acoustic performance and meet the highest safety standards. For example, the fall-through safe glazing along the atriums provides more light and transparency in the building, while maintaining safety and aesthetic appeal. The project demonstrates how glass as a building material can effectively help create aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet both functional requirements and sustainability goals.
